Egg Salad Zero Points

I adore egg salad  and you will too, once you find out that this egg salad has zero points, and it is to easy to make. The secret is yogurt instead of mayo.

Weight Watchers recently added freestyle. It is the new program and eggs are added as a free food. Free meaning a zero points value.  So if you add yogurt which is another zero points ingredient, along with other ingredients then you have yourself a winner.

Keep in mind that the actual biscuit is NOT ZERO POINTS.

The yogurt that replaces the mayo has a creamy texture with a little bit of tang added to make things interesting.

Egg Salad with Zero Points


6 hard boiled eggs

1/4 cup fat free Greek yogurt

2 Tbsp Skinnygirl fat free/sugar free Honey Dijon Dressing

1 tbsp minced onion

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 cup finely chopped celery



Place eggs in a saucepan large enough to hold them in a single layer. Add cold water to cover the eggs by 1 inch. Heat over high heat just to boiling. Remove from the burner and allow to stand for 18 minutes. Drain and add cold water to pan. Peel eggs. Unpeeled eggs can be stored in refrigerator for up to a week.

Mix yogurt, honey mustard, onions, salt pepper and celery to a medium bowl. Add chopped eggs and stir to combine. Refrigerate for several hours to blend flavors.

Serve on lettuce leaves or on your favorite toasted bread.
