Slow Cooker Magic Bars

This is a extremely rich but delicious bar that is loaded with coconut, butterscotch, chocolate and pecans.

I cant get over how many things you can now make with your slow cooker. I love making desserts in my slow cooker. My Chocolate Dump Cake is always a hit and oh so easy to make.

I realized I do not have a lot of slow cooker dessert recipes and decided to remedy that. I was thinking about some other dessert recipes I could make in my slow cooker. I was very surprised on how easy this was to put together.  I made a big pan full and brought it in to work. It really is rich and it does make a ton. My coworkers were up for the challenge and these bars were gone in no time.

I highly recommend using the foil in the insert. It really does help getting these bars out. Then you can cut them right there on the counter. The first time around, I did not use the foil and boy did I have a hard time getting them out of the insert. Even after spraying them.

Slow Cooker Magic Bars

1 stick butter melted
1 1/2 cups or 1 sleeve of graham crackers crushed
1 1/2 cups coconut
1 cup pecans
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Line slow cooker with aluminum foil. Pour melted butter in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle graham crackers over butter. Then layer coconut, pecans, butterscotch and chocolate chips. Pour condensed milk over it all. Put lid on slow cooker and cook on low 2-3 hours. Allow to cool and put in the fridge for a few hours until ready to cut into pieces.

Peace be with you,
