Lithuanian Easter Raisin Bread #breadbakers

Traditionally the practice of eating Easter Bread or Communion Bread goes back to the Byzantine Empire. This Lithuanian Easter bread is great for Easter or any day.

Welcome to this months BreadBakers. We are celebrating the The International Easter/Passover/Springtime Bread Basket. It is hosted by Camilla from Culinary Adventures with Camella.

Just in case you were wondering, #BreadBakers is a group of bread loving bakers who get together once a month to bake bread with a common ingredient or theme. You can see all our of lovely bread by following our Pinterest board right here.
Links are also updated after each event on the BreadBakers home page.

We take turns hosting each month and choosing the theme/ingredient. It is worth repeating, this month Camilla at Culinary Adventures with Camilla has chosen breads from around the world that are traditional for Easter, Passover or Springtime.
