Garlic Bread
Today is National Garlic Day.
There is a reason they call it the stinking rose. There is a sulfuric compound in garlic that does that. I personally believe that the good benefits of garlic outweigh a bit of bad breath.
Garlic has been used as both medicine and food for thousands of years. No wonder, It is a natural antioxidant. Garlic is used to prevent heart disease and helps reduce cholesterol. That is just a few of the awesome benefits of Garlic.
Which brings me to my post today. I have teamed up with a few other awesome bloggers to give you some other recipes with garlic in it. But wait, that is not all! we are also having an awesome giveaway.
This garlic bread is wonderful with any main dish you wish to serve. It goes particularly well with all kinds of Italian dishes. Round it out with a salad and you have the perfect supper. 1 loaf Italian Bread cut horrizontally Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place bread on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil crust side down.

Roasted garlic butter
Definitely a must with spaghetti! ๐
This is a staple food in my house. YUM!
I could eat the whole loaf by myself. No joke. YUM!
Your bread looks so buttery and delicious!
This is a standard in our house, Vonnie. We can’t have barbecue or Italian anything without garlic bread. I love your addition of the cheese!
It would be hard for me not to eat the whole loaf in one sitting! Yum!
So simple yet oh so delicious. I am craving some now, in fact.
I have these really amazing memories of a garlic bread my grandma used to make – it was the first “American” food that my Moroccan husband found he loved. You just can’t go wrong!!
Mmmmmmm delicious! I LOVE garlic bread and yours looks so perfectly buttery and garlicky!
I do not make garlic bread enough. Such a great addition to pasta.
We love garlic bread, so I’d like to try this recipe next time we have pasta.
This is tough to answer because I use garlic in practically everything! I would say one of my favorite dishes with garlic is marinara sauce ๐
