Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter
Let your Slow Cooker do all the work for you. Nothing screams Autumn better than this creamy, rich and fragrant Pumpkin Butter. It is perfect on toast, muffins or anything else you can think of.

Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter
Ingredients:
4 cups pumpkin
1 1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
Mix together pumpkin, honey and vanilla in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours. Add the cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Crack the lid and let the steam escape if you want a thicker consistency. Cool and store in jars.
Will keep in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Mmmm… we made a batch of slow cooker pumpkin butter too for #pumpkinweek – I’ve never made it before but it is SO good on fresh baked biscuits! My son thinks it would make a good “frosting” for a pumpkin loaf or cake too. ๐
